Snow Day!

We got LOTS of snow last night! It is SOOOO pretty...especially as we were going to bed last night and it was so quiet and peacefully falling. You'd think the people of Atlanta had never seen the stuff before though...they city has pretty much shut down. It's crazy. Ben didn't go into work today so that was nice. We cooked a big breakfast and went out to play. We tried to build a snowman but it is too powdery. Maybe once we get all this icy stuff they keep talking about...we can make one.

I had to get to my car b/c my jacket and gloves were in there. Great place for them huh? :) Here's my handsome husband scraping all the snow off of my car. Would have been nice if we could get our cars in the garage during days like this.

Sam didn't really get too daring in the snow. He stayed pretty close and just threw Buzz and Woody around in it. So cautious that child!

Please notice Sam's outfit. We have no snow clothes, so we were just going with layers! Since I couldn't find his gloves...he's wearing gardening gloves. Daddy is quite resourceful! We were laughing so hard. Whatever works right.
Here's the road in front of our house. We saw one car venture up the hill. Those tracks are mostly from our neighbors sledding.

I'm sure those ginormous gloves are doing a great job protecting his little hands. we didn't stay out very long. Planning on heading out again later.
