These are some more random pictures of some of the things we've been doing to get ready for Christmas!
I always love looking at our stocking hanging on the mantle at Christmas. Mom made these for us and they are so very special!
Countdown to Christmas (found this idea on Pinterest of course). Sam really enjoyed sticking the cotton balls on Santa's beard every day.
Had to include this of my gorgeous nieces with their stockings! Love these girls!
Sam's class mascot, Butterscotch (the giraffe) spent one weekend with us. He wanted to help Sam make a gingerbread house. Sam did a great job with it! he was so proud of it.
Side note - please ignore my backwards couch cushions. Anywho - just snapped this picture one Sunday after church of this handsome little guy. Such a sweet little boy!
Christmas festivities included lots of trips to the grocery for food (mama did lots of cooking and baking). I always go right after I pick Sam up from school (lunch time) so we can grab a grilled cheese at the deli and the boys can munch on them as we stroll through the store. Thank you Publix Deli...you are a life saver! :)
Sweet, handsome Sam
Quick snapshot of our Christmas picture...
Sam had to show Butterscotch his favorite ornament (the house from Christmas Vacation...you can hit a button and the Hallelujah chorus playsnd it lights up - HILARIOUS).
Another shot of the gingerbread house!
