Yesterday, Jack was officially 9 months old! Where has the time gone? I know I always say that but it's so hard to imagine he's almost a year old! Crazy! We went for his 9 month appointment yesterday which happened to be good timing since he has been sick for several days. He had his first ear infection and the doctor noticed him wheezing some. Hopefully we'll get him all cleared up before Christmas this weekend! Everything else checked out good and he is right on track! Here are his stats:
Weight: 22lbs 6oz (75-90th%)
Height: 28 in (50th%)
Here's a few things that Jack has been up to lately:
- Jack is such a happy baby. He smiles and laughs ALL the time.
- He is still army crawling everywhere...and I mean everywhere! He tries to get into anything possible that he shouldn't! My pillow barricades in the family room are no match for him. He's figured out how to get around them already.
- The other night was the first time he really crawled on his knees! So exciting (and frightening too - ha). He prefers to army crawl though.
- He is pulling up on a few things.
- Jack has 2 teeth and a new one popped through when NaNa and YaYa were here last week!
- He REALLY likes to take a bath and splash in the water.
- And he REALLY loves to play with his big brother. It's so sweet! He watches everything that he does
- Jack makes it nearly impossible to change his diaper because he tries to turn over and crawl away. His pants are usually put back on while he is crawling away. Makes it quite interesting for mommy and daddy.
I could go on and on...Happy 9 months Jack! We love you so much!
