Prayer Request

Chad and Kennedy last summer
I don't think I've mentioned this on here yet, but I have a MAJOR prayer request for you all. My "CHAD-IN-LAW" (he calls me Kate-in-law b/c we don't know what to call each other - our siblings are married), my sister's brother-in-law, Chad (Chance's brother) has been diagnosed with Pheochromocytoma for the 3rd time. I am no doctor and am terrible with medical terminology but he most recently had surgery last year to remove a tumor and had the same thing way back when Sara and Chance were in high school. "Pheo" is a tumor of the adrenal gland that causes excess release of epinephrine and noreprinephrine (hormones that regulate blood pressure and heart rate).
Well, they just recently found out that it is back and bigger than ever. They have been back and forth with the doctors as to what is the best path to take and have decided that they will start chemotherapy on Monday. This is a pretty aggresive chemo and Chad is going to be VERY sick once it starts. Please pray for Chad and ask God to heal him (as he has twice before)! HE is the ultimate Physician and we know that He can heal Chad! Please pray for Jan and Willy (Chad and Chance's parents) as they support Chad in all of this as well as Chance and Sara. Everyone is just heartbroken and trying to get their heads and hearts wrapped around this situation. Also, please pray for my nieces, Grace, Emma and Kennedy. They love their Uncle Chad (aka "Bubba" as they call him) so much and are at the ages that they know something is going on, but not quite sure how to make sense of it all. They have been asking a lot of questions. Please pray that Sara and Chance are able to find the right words to best describe what all is going on with their uncle and walk them through this process as best they can.
Thankfully, this is a family who believes in the healing power of Jesus and knows that with God...ALL things are possible!
Sara has created a Caring Bridge site that she updates very regularly, check it out: www.caringbridge.org/visit/chadoliver
She also has a Facebook group set up "Pray for Chad". I think you can get to it from my page somewhere.
Thanks to everyone who has asked about Chad and the family. Please keep praying for them and for Chad next week as he starts this scary process!
