Fun playday with friends!

Yesterday we had some friends over to play! We usually go to the park, library, etc, etc and end up chasing the kids around the whole time...which is fun, but this was a nice change. This was a great chance for the mommies to visit while the kids ran around. I made up some chicken salad and everyone brought some yummy treats. We will do it again soon! I think the kids had fun...and the mommies too! It's so great to have these awesome ladies (and their kiddos) in our lives. All of our kids are right about the same age and play really well together. Sam did not enjoy sharing his toys very much, but we are going to work on that. It's funny how they get territorial!
Thanks to Katey (and Alayna), Priscilla (and Addison and Tru) and Leanne (Jackson too)! You all are the BEST! We had so much fun! Here are some pictures from the craziness! :)

Sam and Addison playing in the tent. This was the BIG hit of the day. They thought it was so much fun. Who knew...great $10 spent!
Poor kiddos had to eat on the floor. I need to get one of those picnic tables for occasions such as this. I've been meaning to get one. Luckily, these guys were really great about sitting and eating. Notice...you don't see Sam. Sam - NOT SO GOOD at sitting still. He was in the high chair.
CUPCAKE TIME! Leanne made some delicious cupcakes (they even had orange-tinted icing...GO VOLS)! Here is Jackson digging in!
Sam was a big fan of the cupcakes too. He had a nice mustache going.
Love this picture of Katey and Alayna. So sweet...and such great friends!
Jackson and Addison got in the tent and laughed and kicked and laughed some more. So cute!
Thought this was such a cute picture of them cracking up. Sam really wanted to get in there. So funny.
Beautiful little Alayna. Her mommy always has her dressed and "accessorized" so cute! She has a little butterfly headband...it was so cute. :)

you need to get a kid card table. i got mine at big lots, and it's the greatest thing ever because it folds up. i'm so glad you have such a great group of mommies--it sure does make it easier to stay at home when you have that! love you!

Gotta LOVE playdates! We are scheduled with ours up through Nov, and it makes me super excited. I agree that it's just as much fun for the mommies! :0)
