March Came in like a Lion!

We have definitely had a rough February. Sam got RSV and that nasty stomach virus. Then, Ben, NaNa and YaYa also got the stomach virus...yuck! It was a rough few weeks there, but we got through it and are doing much better. As you can see from the pictures, Sam is back to his normal happy, cackling self! He is getting to be so much fun. He laughs and smiles all the time. He had his 6 month appointment last week so here are his stats. He lost some weight since he got sick, so hopefully that will get back to normal soon. Other than that...he is healthy and doing just fine.

Weight - 16lbs 7 oz (35th %tile) - yikes :)

Height - 26 3/4 inches long (60th %tile)

Head - 97th%tile - whoa!

Sam is sitting up on his own...holding his own bottle (thank goodness)...still sleeping really well...no teeth yet but overall a very happy boy! We are so blessed!

We have lots of March birthdays in our family...Happy Birthday to Aunt Anita, YaYa and Aunt Jenni!

Mom will be here all next week for Spring Break. YEAH! Sam's day care has spring break too (I know...weird), but I am taking a couple of days off work to hang out so that should be really fun. Sara, mom and I are having a spa pedicure treat on Wednesday too! YEAH! Pampering is always a great idea!

Sam playing with YaYa last Saturday (when it snowed). YaYa cooked us an amazing breakfast (like always). THANKS YAYA and NANA...we love you!

Ben's mom mentioned that we should try putting Sam in the high chair while we ate breakfast and he loved it. He just banged his little cup the whole time. We haven't tried him in his high chair yet, so that was a fun surprise. This is actually the high chair at NaNa and YaYa's that daddy and Uncle Rob ate in growing up so that is fun.
