3rd Annual Memorial Day Picnic

We had our 3rd Annual Memorial Day Picnic with our great friends, the Smiths, Benders, Daniels and Howards this past weekend! Katey and Waylon opened up their gorgeous home...and huge yard to us again this year. We decided to do it on Saturday night...so everyone could spend Monday relaxing with family and it was perfect (except we were all pretty exhausted at church on Sunday from being out too late). :) The weather was absolutely perfect and we all had a wonderful time. The kids are getting bigger and can play so much better with each other...which is awesome. What is crazy is that we have welcomed 4 babies to the group since we started this tradition 3 years ago! Leanne pointed out that we have 10 adults and 10 kids. CRAZY...actually, that works out pretty well...1 kid per adult! :)
Hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Memorial Day Weekend. So thankful for all the men and women that are serving and have served our country! We are so blessed! God Bless AMERICA!

Beautiful friends! Love these ladies! The dads! They spent majority of the time in Waylon's barn...smoking chicken and hoarding...I mean eating...all the chicken wings! Ha! :)Jack and TruJack...still hanging in the stroller. He spent most of the time there...he was quite content actually. I got a slip-n-slide last year, but it rained most of the time, so we didn't get to use it. This year, the kids LOVED it. Sam and Alayna spent lots of time on it. Are they so cute together or what? They just love each other...so sweet!
Had to include this PRECIOUS picture of Leanne and Philip! So cute!Great buddies!Sam could have played on the slip-n-slide the whole night. So fun!

This is such a gorgeous picture of two precious ladies, Katey and Alayna!
Me and my Jack! I LOVE his face here.

Group picture...minus Jack and Philip! Ben made homemade chocolate ice cream, so here's all the kiddos having their ice cream treat!
Jack did get out of the stroller for a little while so he could play some soccer! :)
Sparklers!
The Howards brought this Jeep...and it was a HUGE hit. The kids drove all over the yard...well, until the batteries went out, so they just pushed each other. Hilarious.
Sam giving Alayna and Addison a push...such a gentlemen. :)
Typical Hazlewood mechanic! :)
More sparklers!
Thanks to Todd for doing sparklers with the kids. I think he does this every year with them. The kids loved them.
Soooo fun!
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
