We thought we'd squeeze in a trip up to my mom's (Mops) house before she starts back to school. It was a nice break after VBS (can you tell what consumed my whole summer)...and we had such fun hanging out and playing with Mops.
Got the boys some new pjs. We call Jack "The Hulk" so these pjs were perfect. Can you figure out yet what he will be for Halloween? And then of course, Captain America. I think they really think that they turn into these characters when they put these pjs on. HILARIOUS. Sam always says..."Look who's coming...it's CAPTAIN AMERICA". And then Jack just says..."The Hulk...Hulk Smash"...in the funniest voice ever.
Got up early and walked with our fave ladies, Mops and Betty Lou (Mops' best friend...aka...LuLu...or YuYu according to Jack)
Mom took me for my first trip to the Amish Market in Charlotte. SO MUCH FUN! Bought lots of treats for some really great prices. So cool. Going to have to find one of those around us.

And of course, popsicles afterwards! My mom used to make us these "tupperware" popsicles when we were kids and she still has them. Love that the boys get to enjoy them too!
I think both boys fell asleep at the same time for about an hour and a half of driving time on our drive home that day...it was GLORIOUS for this mama after a long drive.
